A fully custom-made aluminum canopy proposed as an addition to this heritage building in Rosedale neighborhood. To create privacy aluminum slats used on the perimeter of the canopy. Some of the existing brick work covered in aluminum to reach a balance between new and old materials. The aluminum structure cantilevered at one point to create a perfect square of the jagged balcony. The cantilevered beam supported by a 23’ header beam across.
