Science building is a medium space in constant transition, with constant changes in demand for new programs & new needs. It could be a container of maximum flexibility. Its mission is to intensify interaction among different territories (experts, investors, officials…)
CONTEXT
The context is poor in many physical and non-physical aspects. The complex needs to attract outsiders. The complex will be made to enhance the context feature. How to become detached physically and programmatically from the context while having the needed effect to boost the city in terms of public life & education?
PROGRAM CONSOLIDATION
Second step was to divide analogous programs of science building. Two clusters of generic and specific (the filter and the cube) arose.
THE FILTER
The filter is an instrument of detachment from the context. It is a continuous façade which provides a stage for the cube.
THE CUBE
The cube provides free efficient surface with the ability of constant re-programming. It is a container of swift changes, a volume of interactions.

PHASING
The complex is in its most flexible condition if its components have the ability to work with each other in direct contact. In the 1st phase the complex will nearly acquire its complete image for the urban landscape & in the 2nd phase its programmatically potentials will be doubled.
